International Instructor Course - Dublin 2022

On Friday 25th February 2022 a group of 17 students from T-UK travelled to Dublin for the 151st IIC, to be conducted by GM Marano, GM Lan and Master Judut respectively.

We joined over 260 black belts from 20 countries around the world and were privileged to stand in the rows with 38 Masters (soon to be 41) and 4 Grand Master in doboks training.

Friday afternoon’s session basically covered colored belt pattern from Chon-Ji all the way up to Choong-Moo, this was after Master Jedut’s infamous warm-up obviously.

On the Saturday, we covered the initial black belt patterns, along with some defense and sparring work.

In the afternoon Master Duek presented the ITF Adapted course and gave some innovative ideas and teaching methods for some of our more vulnerable students. This was an interactive presentation which everyone enjoyed thoroughly.

During this session Master Miley took his Masters test and congrats go out again for his fantastic achievement.

The IIC was completed on Sunday morning by covering the more senior patters. The lower grade team continued with sparring and defense sessions.

The IIC was extremely informative and well run. Our thanks go out to ITA for superb organization and producing what has to be one of my favorite events to date.

It was awesome to pull on our doboks and train with friends from all around the world.

Grand Master Marano, and Lang were awesome, as was Master Jedut and the knowledge gained will be evaluable as we move forwards.

Many thanks to all involved and well done T-UK for a great turnout.
