British Open TKD Championships - 11/12/2017

On Saturday 25th November, eight T-UK Students went down to Crawley to take part in the
First British Open Taekwon-Do Championships.
This is the first time and event like this has been hosted by 3 separate Nations, England, Scotland & Wales.
Over 500 competitors took part so it was a fantastic achievement that the following T-UK students took the following Results ;

Black Belts
Gilbert Blocksidge (T-UK Stratford) -  Silver Senior Male Patterns

Romy Mottershead (T-UK Trident)  -  Bronze – Senior Female Sparring

Rebecca Dean  (T-UK Trident)  -  Bronze – Junior Female Patterns

Lily Thompson (T-UK Trident)  -  Gold – Junior Female Patterns, Bronze - Sparring

Harry Payton (T-UK Trident)  -  Silver – Junior Sparring, Bronze - Pattern

Coloured Belts
Demi Barnett (T-UK Stratford)  - Gold – Red Belt Sparring,  Gold – Patterns, Gold – Special Technique
(Demi was also British champs overall winner in her age division !!)

Sky Barnett (T-UK Stratford) - Gold – Green Belt Sparring, Bronze - Patterns, Gold - Special Technique

Billy Barnett  (T-UK Stratford)  -  Bronze – Yellow Belt Sparring
